Tompkins Reaches New Heights with its Vertical Lift Automation System
Supply & Demand Chain Executive has named Tompkins Industries, Inc. a recipient of the 2023 Top Supply Chain Projects award, which profiles innovative case study-type projects designed to automate, optimize, streamline, and improve the supply chain.
The vertical lift automation system was an important project that relied heavily on technical assistance from the team at PathGuide to incorporate and power the new vertical lift by using the company’s flagship product, Latitude WMS. The success of the integration meant close collaboration and coordination between companies to realize productivity gains, unlock time and cost savings, and better manage inventory to build resilience for the times ahead.
