SEATTLE - October 19, 2009 - PathGuide® Technologies, a leading provider of warehouse management systems (WMS) for wholesale and industrial distributors, today announced that chairman David Allais has received The University of Arizona College of Engineering Lifetime Achievement Award. Later, he earned a master of science degree in electrical engineering and doctor of philosophy degree from Stanford University.
"Without David's foresight and creativity, bar coding and automated data capture might never have evolved to become the essential, mission critical technology that it is today," said University of Arizona College of Engineering Dean Jeff Goldberg."David has applied that knowledge and innovation while at PathGuide Technologies to engineer a state-of-the-art warehouse management system which has helped revolutionize the wholesale and industrial distribution industries."
"I am thrilled to receive such an honor from one of the most prestigious engineering colleges in the country in the University of Arizona," said Allais.
